Hello there! I’m Danielle Dominguez of ‘Dan Domi Travels’, a virtual place I’ve created to share my writing – mostly travel – and comfort food recipes. I am a (less) frustrated writer, who used to type out a whole lot of waffle under the guise of a recipe blog. I still love to cook, but I love words more, so this site has more of those, with some recipes on the side. I am an explorer at heart – of places, people and new experiences – and now have a 7-year-old sidekick with whom to share many of my discoveries and (mostly) joys. He and I live in a cosy apartment in inner city Melbourne, Australia, where we dream big and plot our adventures together, and little-by-little make these a reality.
When I am not writing, travelling or cooking, I most definitely practising yoga. In my venture, Hikes for the Soul, I guide small groups on wilderness hikes with a yoga flavour, weaving in meditation and pranayama for a truly beautiful nature experience. I am a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher of meditation, mantra, asana, kundalini kriya and pranayama, and a forever student of yoga in order to bring greater depth to my offerings and share more of this beautiful practice.
Thank you for reading!
